Ripley County Chamber of Commerce - Doniphan, Missouri Position Type: Part-Time

The Ripley County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and community-minded Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our organization. This role is vital to ensuring smooth communications, accurate record-keeping, and effective event coordination in service of our members and local business community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Chamber Board

Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors with professionalism
Maintain membership records, contact lists, and chamber files
Assist in planning and organizing Chamber events, meetings, and ribbon cuttings
Help manage the Chamber's social media accounts and website updates
Process mail, payments, invoices, and deposits
Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and basic reports
Perform general office duties including data entry, scheduling, and filing

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic digital tools
Comfortable learning Chamber-specific platforms and social media tools
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
Previous office or administrative experience preferred
Familiarity with Ripley County and local businesses is a plus
