The Ripley County Chamber of Commerce was established in 1963 to foster commercial and industrial development in Doniphan, Missouri and surrounding areas. Over the years the Chamber has grown to over 100 business members who provide the backbone of support for the Chamber's economic development activities.
The Chamber of Commerce has a part time Executive Director serving a volunteer Board of Directors who manage the Chamber's activities. The Chamber provides technical assistance to its business members and informational assistance to the general public.
The Chamber of Commerce has close links to nearly all local government and civic groups and helps coordinate various community activities and events, including the Labor Day Homecoming Activities, the July 4th Weekend Concert and Fireworks Celebration and the Award Winning - Ozark Regional Timberfest. We have become the clearing house for information about Ripley County, Missouri and are the unashamed promoter of the benefits of our community. We welcome visitors and encourage them to join us in making Ripley County a better place to live, work and play.
The Chamber's General Membership Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month. The time and location varies depending on the quest speaker and topic.
